Callso

About

Built in the UK, for businesses that live by the diary

Callso answers the phone for plumbers, salons, garages, clinics and anyone else whose next job arrives as a ringing phone they cannot reach.

Who builds it

Callso is built by Jimmy Adams, its founder, in the United Kingdom. It is a small operation - not a large team, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. If something is wrong with your account, the person who reads the email is the person who can fix it.

You can reach us at info@callso.co.uk.

Why it exists

For most service businesses the phone is the till. A missed call is not an inconvenience, it is a job that went to whoever picked up instead. The existing answers are all half-answers: voicemail that most callers hang up on, answering services that hand you a message and a task, or a salary you cannot justify for phone cover alone.

Callso exists to close the loop - to end the call with an appointment in the diary rather than a note to ring someone back. That is the whole product, and everything else is in service of it.

What we will not do

  • We will not fake proof. No testimonials, no logos, no star ratings and no customer counts until they are real. At the time of writing we are pre-launch and have none, which is why you will not find any on this site.
  • We will not record a call without telling the caller. The recording disclosure is part of every greeting and cannot be switched off.
  • We will not guess at your availability. If the diary cannot be read, the receptionist takes a message and says so. A wrong booking is worse than no booking.
  • We will not let the line go dead. If the voice platform fails, calls fall back to your mobile. The worst case is that your phone behaves exactly as it did before Callso.

Where we are up to

Callso is pre-launch. The product is in build and we are not yet taking live customers. If you would like to be told when we are, the sign-up form is the place to do it.
