Beauty salons
You cannot answer with a client mid-treatment.
Callso answers in your salon's name, knows which therapist does which treatment and on which days, and books into the real column.

The call you missed
You are mid-set of infills with a client in the chair. The phone goes and goes. It was a new client wanting a full set on Saturday, your best-paying slot of the week, and she has already rung the salon down the road.
How she handles it
Caller
Do you do lash lifts, and is anyone free Saturday?
Brenda
We do - a lash lift is £45 and takes about an hour. Nicole has 10 o'clock or half past 2 on Saturday.
Caller
Ten would be lovely.
Brenda
Saturday at 10 with Nicole. Have you had a lash lift with us before, or shall I book you in as a new client?
What she knows
Read from your own website, checked by you, then quoted word for word. She never invents a price.
- Full set of gel extensions90 min£55

The maths
What are missed calls actually costing you?
Your call. We will not quote you a statistic we cannot stand behind.
You are losing about
£1,638
a month, to a ringing phone.
Brenda answers every one of those calls and takes the details, from £39 a month. To book them straight into your diary it is £79.
She has to save you one job a month to have paid for herself.
Start with Answer, £3918 missed calls a week, 50% of them ringing the next business, at £42 a job. That is the whole sum - no fine print.
Pricing
Three plans. One missed job pays for any of them.

Our recommendation

About 120 calls a month. For anyone whose diary is the business.
- Everything in Answer

- Google Calendar and Outlook, both ways
- Holds the slot and tells the caller they are pencilled in
- You approve it with one tap, confirmation sent for you
- Reschedules and cancellations handled on the phone
Team
She books the right person, not just a time.
£149/month

- Everything in Book
- Five diaries, five sets of hours, five sets of services
- Knows who does what - 'Kayleigh does brows on Tuesdays'

Every new account starts with Brenda asking your permission before she does anything - bookings, emails, quotes. You loosen that yourself, when she has earned it. Go past your calls for the month and we tell you before anything is charged - it is 25p a minute after that, and we will point you at the plan that costs you less.
Questions
The things people ask before they sign up.
Will my customers know it is not a person?
She says she is an assistant if she is asked, and she never pretends otherwise. Every call opens by telling the caller it is recorded - that line is part of the greeting and cannot be removed. Most callers just want their MOT booking and a straight answer.
How does she know anything about my business?
You give her your website address. She reads it - your services, your prices, your areas, your hours - and shows you a draft of what she learned. You correct anything that is wrong and approve it. If you have no website, she asks you about ten multiple-choice questions instead.
What if she does not know the answer?
She says so. 'I'll get Dave to confirm that for you' - then she takes the caller's details and drafts you an email reply to approve. She does not guess at a price, ever. Inventing a number is the one thing we treat as a failure.
What happens if your system goes down?
Your calls forward to your mobile, exactly as they did before Callso, and you get the missed-call text as normal. The number is yours and the fallback lives at the phone network, not in our software - so if we break, the phone still rings. Nobody ever gets dead air.
Do I have to change my phone number?
No. You keep your number and divert calls to the one we give you - all calls, or only when you are busy or closed, whichever you pick. It is a short code you dial once on your own phone, and we show you the exact one for EE, O2, Vodafone or Three.
Can she book into my actual calendar?
Yes, on Book and Team. She connects to Google Calendar or Outlook, reads your real availability - your hours, your holidays, your existing appointments, the buffer you want between jobs - and writes the booking to both your diary and your calendar.
What if she books something wrong?
She reads the date, time and job back to the caller and waits for a yes before she writes anything. On top of that, every booking lands in your approvals inbox for a tap, until you tell her she can go ahead without asking.
How long does setting up take?
About twenty minutes, most of it you reading what she has learned about your business and correcting the bits she got wrong. The number, the diversion and the calendar are a few minutes each.
